HUIER Electric is proud to be a rockwell system integrator certified company. But what does that mean?
Rockwell shall have UL508A certified complete panel companies worldwide. They have an UL508A certified testing laboratory in their China facility and maintain a close relationship with the competent UL agency, which is widely regarded as the authority on safety assurance in the United States.
You have most likely seen the sticker Rockwell label control panel before. As the largest industrial electrical plant in the United States, the AB logo can be found on a variety of consumer or industrial equipment.
These ubiquitous labels provide a guarantee for the safety and quality of the product.
Finally, RA will verify whether the product meets the corresponding authorized production standards.
RA Panel Workshop plans to provide certified products worldwide. In order for plants to receive this certification, they are trained in key safety compliance requirements for building industrial control panels in accordance with UL 508A.
The training covers topics such as correct ICP construction, power and control circuit ratings and marking requirements, housing construction, component standards, and short-circuit ratings.
In addition, RA-authorized facilities are subject to regular, unannounced inspections to ensure that manufacturers continue to meet UL 508A requirements.
Once the facility is RA certified, they can mass produce or custom design UL 508A industrial control panels with the Rockwell logo on them.
To obtain the RA label for industrial control panels, all the following components must be selected from AB products conforming to UL standards:
·On/off switch
·PLC
·contactor
·Motor drive
·transformer
·Overcurrent protection device
These standards ensure that control panels comply with national and local electrical codes, thus ensuring public safety.
·Third-party certification: Electrical inspectors use RA labels as evidence of third-party certification. Ra-labeled panels are in strict compliance with UL certification requirements to assure inspectors and regulators that all ICP components and manufacturing techniques have been carefully selected and that all assembled ICPs meet UL's highest safety standards.
·Consistent construction techniques: ensure that the correct wire and cable torque Settings are used.
·Correct labeling: Ensure that panel labeling standards are adhered to.
·SCCR calculation: Calculate the short circuit current rating (SCCR) correctly.
·AB Certified Components: Using AB UL compliant components makes it easier to find other components that work with the panel.
