CSA certification is the Canadian Standards Association (Canadian Standards Association) abbreviation. Founded in 1919, it is Canada's first non-profit organization dedicated to the development of industrial standards. Electronic, electrical, sanitary, gas and other products sold in the North American market are required to obtain safety certification. At present, CSA is the largest safety certification body in Canada and one of the most famous safety certification bodies in the world. It can provide safety certification for machinery, building materials, electrical appliances, computer equipment, office equipment, environmental protection, medical fire safety, sports and entertainment and other aspects of all types of products.
CSA certification is one of the necessary conditions for a product to be sold in the Canadian and American markets. CSA certified products need to meet the safety standards of Canada and the United States, such as CSA C22.2 No. 61010-1, etc. The electrical, mechanical and chemical properties of the product are tested to ensure that the safety performance of the product meets the requirements of the standard. CSA also requires factory inspection of the manufacturer of the product to ensure that the product is manufactured and tested to meet the requirements of the standard.
